Where to pick up your car rental at Gold Coast Airport

The Gold Coast is a holidaymaker’s paradise! With Southport, Surfer’s Paradise, Broadbeach and more beachy suburbs strung along the coast and several theme parks inland, you’ll need a car to get around! Here’s how to get moving with your car rental supplier as soon as your plane touches down:

Alamo Car Hire: Alamo is serviced by Europcar in Australia, so check your confirmation email and keep a lookout for the Europcar desk in the terminal which houses both the International and Domestic arrivals. This is located near the Qantas Club, taxi ranks and domestic baggage carousel.

Alpha Car Hire:  Pick ups must be within office hours. After clearing customs, call the number provided on your confirmation and a driver will collect you from the airport and take you to the depot near the airport to collect your car.

Andy’s Auto Rentals: Ensure the friendly staff at Andy’s have your flight details before you arrive, and a representative will meet you at a designated pick up point to take you to the depot just across the road from the airport, and send you on your way to the beach.

Apollo / Hertz  Car Hire: Hertz and Apollo are jointly branded in this location, so look for the Hertz counter in the terminal to pick up your vehicle with help from the staff and be on your way.

Auto Europe Car Hire:  Auto Europe uses different end suppliers in Australia. Check your rental confirmation to see which company your car will be provided by, and proceed as directed for that supplier.

Avis Car Hire:  Once you have cleared customs and picked up your luggage, you will find the Avis counter in the terminal, near the taxi rank and domestic baggage carousels. Ask the staff about picking up your vehicle and you’ll be in Movie World in no time.

Bliss Car Hire:  Branded as Got2Go in this location, you will be greeted by a staff member off your flight in the baggage collection area for domestic flights or outside of customs for international flights. You will be taken to the depot to quickly be out and about in your rental car.

Budget Car Hire:  Budget has a counter in the arrivals area of the airport’s single terminal, so see the staff there to collect your vehicle quickly.

Cruisin’ Oz Car Hire:  Cruisin’ Oz us operated by Ace Rental cars in the Gold Coast. During office hours there is a free shuttle service to the depot near the airport. Just call the freephone number once you are ready to be picked up.

East Coast Car Hire:  A free shuttle will pick you up from the airport to take you to your car. Upon arrival, call the number provided in your confirmation, then wait next to the carpark pay station for pickup.

Europcar Car Hire:  With a counter in the terminal, Europcar rentals will get you moving, surfing, swimming and shopping fast! Look for the counter and the staff there will sort you out with your vehicle.

Hertz Car Hire:  Once you leave airside of the terminal, keep an eye out for Hertz’s yellow signs! The staff at their in-airport counter will help you to collect your vehicle.

Honk Car Hire:  Honk is an aggregator and your car could come from a number of end suppliers, so check your confirmation for the supplier you will be using and proceed accordingly.

National Car Hire:  As they are serviced by Europcar, National rentals can be easily picked up at the in-terminal counter. Just ask the staff for your vehicle and be on your way!

Redspot Car Hire: Redspot has a counter in the terminal, with the other rental companies near the domestic baggage collection area. See the staff to pick up your vehicle.

Sixt Car Hire:  In Australia, Sixt is partnered with Redspot, so find the Redspot counter in the terminal near the domestic baggage collection. The staff there will help you to pick up your rental and answer any questions.

Thrifty Car Hire:  There is a Thrifty counter with the the other car rental desks in the terminal. After collecting your baggage and customs for the international arrivals, head to the counter and ask the staff about your rental car.
